Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH)
In large dynamic systems, high loads and masses may lead to increased vibrations in the overall system, which may cause damage. To detect the root causes of these vibrations, complex multi body simulations (MBS) including hydrodynamic fluid film damping can help in analyzing the NVH behavior, identifying the important system features to be considered in the model and showing the optimization potential of the system.
Beside the evaluation of structure dynamics and vibrations in the time domain, detailed analyzes in the frequency domain are possible to detect the frequencies with the dominant amplitudes and to visualize the underlying mode shapes of the system.
In some cases, if vibration measurements of the running system under load or modal analyzes are available, the comparison of simulation results and measurements helps in validating the simulation model and in identifying the dominant design parameters. Optimization studies on the simulation model can reduce cost expensive test stands or prevent retrofits at the customer system.

Additionally, our software helps to reduce noise emissions developed by e.g. electrical drives. Our electromagnetic force module that considers the motor specific number of poles and possible static or dynamic eccentricity can contribute significantly to optimising your solution.
For this purpose our software allows the user to visualize the surface velocities to detect weak points in the design and subsequently improve the model.
